1. Introduction: What is WBFS? WBFS (Wii Backup File System) is a proprietary filesystem developed by the Wii homebrew community. Unlike standard computer filesystems (FAT32, NTFS, exFAT), WBFS was designed for one specific purpose: to store raw, trimmed Wii game disc images (ISOs) on a USB hard drive for use with USB loaders.
