If a shortcut isn't working, check if you are in Full Screen mode . If you are in a window, you are likely controlling your own PC, not the remote one.

To send Win + L to the remote PC (locking the remote session, not yours), you must be in Full Screen mode . If that doesn't work, use the Start menu on the remote PC instead.
