The bridge was a series of rolling logs. Pluto stepped on one and slipped, his paws sliding sideways.
He grabbed the small fan. "The vacuum sucks air in. We'll blow air back!" He aimed the fan at the vacuum's side. The airflow confused the vacuum’s sensor. It spun in a circle, coughed once, and shut off. All the tennis balls scattered.
Pluto saw his chance. He bounded forward, snagged the biggest tennis ball in his mouth, and crossed the finish line just as the timer hit zero.
Toodles, the floating red toolbox, beeped into the clubhouse and spun open. Inside were five objects: a feather duster, a rubber bone, a small fan, a roll of duct tape, and a banana.
