6. The Fury of the God But even after killing Hiranyakashipu, Narasimha was not calm . He sat on the throne, breathing fire, his eyes blazing, terrifying gods and demons alike. No one dared approach.

Brahma refused. So the demon king crafted a cunning loophole: “Let me not die any dwelling or outside ; not during day or night ; not on ground or in sky ; not by any weapon or hand of man or beast; not by any god , demon , or living being created by you.” Brahma granted the boon. Now believing himself invincible, Hiranyakashipu conquered the three worlds, banned the name of Vishnu, and declared himself God. 3. The Unshakable Son: Prahlada Hiranyakashipu had a son named Prahlada . While still in his mother’s womb, Prahlada heard the divine chants of sage Narada, who was teaching his mother.
