The illustration shown below was scanned off a Savage factory parts list, using factory reference numbers, which are converted to factory part numbers. This is important as about all obsolete parts suppliers use ONLY factory or closely associated numbers where ever possible so everyone is on the same page.
Â
Note, for some of the older firearms,
many over 100 years old, the factories never used what we now know as assembly
drawings, but just views of many of the component parts & possibly randomly
placed
 as seen below

The illustrated parts shown here, are from original factory parts list of about 1950 & use factory party numbers

We’ve all been there. You’re three sentences into a group presentation, and you accidentally call your professor "Mom." You wave enthusiastically at a stranger in the grocery store because from behind they looked exactly like your best friend. You send an email ending with "Best retards" instead of "Best regards" (yes, that happened to me. Yes, I considered moving to a new country).
No, that’s not a typo. For those unfamiliar, Gal Ritchie (full name: Gwendolyn Ritchie) is a relatively obscure character actress known for her role as the sharp, unshakeable receptionist in a mid-2000s legal drama. She doesn't get the big monologues. She doesn't save the world. But she has one superpower: megan mistakes, gal ritchie
Gal Ritchie understands a crucial truth: If you react with calm amusement, the awkwardness evaporates. How to Summon Your Inner Gal Ritchie You don't have to be a character actress from a forgotten TV show to master this. You just need a script for when the inevitable happens. We’ve all been there

Note that extractors for guns made prior to 1950 were
.435 wide at the top, while the later ones were .308.
