Enable the built-in Administrator account (Run CMD as admin: net user administrator /active:yes ). Step 2: Log out of your account and log into the "Administrator" account. Step 3: Navigate to C:\Users and Rename your user folder. Step 4: Open regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList Step 5: Find the key with your old path and change the ProfileImagePath value to the new name. Step 6: Log out of Administrator and log back into your account.
